ReLife Review

Hey I guess it’s been a while since I posted something, I just posted a first impressions on Mob Psycho 100 but I guess I wanted to say something before I go into talking about this anime. I’ve just sorta been issues writing reviews or anything I also make videos but I stopped with those as well. I’ve also been a little busy with work and getting ready to go back to school since the summer is coming to an end. Anyway that’s really it I suppose here’s my review on a random anime I watched on Crunchyroll that I think I may have enjoyed a lot more than I should’ve. Here we go!

So I don’t know about you but if I was given the option to go back to high school I would not do it. Too much drama and just I would not want to go back to that, but anyway ReLife is about a guy who is unemployed and has become a bit of a shut in. He is then confronted by someone who offers him a job if he takes this pill that makes him look younger and go back to living through high school. It’s an interesting concept kind of weird but I could not stop watching this show. I won’t spoil anything, there’s not much to spoil but there are a few twists here and there, there was one I called but I won’t get into that. Anyway it’s a pretty good slice of life show, it has a lot of humor, there are a lot of emotional serious moments though, and I do have to say there are a few parts where I was embarrassed for the main character. There was just a lot of cringe with certain things but like I said it kept me watching. I think I finished this series in a day or two, it’s only 12 episodes long but I really REALLY hope there is a second season. I might have to read the manga or something because again not spoiling anything, the ending left me wanting more. It is still kind of a weird concept with a 27 year old that looks 17 hanging around high schoolers even though I did understand the point of it for story purposes and in the end it was really cool. Once again I recommend this show it’s a fun watch, though it does have some heavy emotional moments. Anyway, yeah my score for this anime is I really liked it. I don’t really have a scoring thing…. BUT I do recommend this anime! It’s a pretty good show from this year.

Thanks for reading!

  1. We definitely need a second season given we haven’t finished his year back at school. I really enjoyed this series even though there are a few obvious criticisms for it. It’s really fun and has quite a lot of heart even when it feel a little generic in places.
    Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
